Future of farming on the table for next Talking Politics session

Farming is an increasingly important subject whether we are producers or consumers. Issues of selling produce locally, reducing the food chain, organic foods, factory farming are all of great importance.

Representing a semi-rural constituency and with a strong interest in issues around food, David Drew has always followed farming issues and while MP he was chair of Labour's backbench agriculture committee, speaking out for tenant farmers and co-operation in farming.

The November Talking Politics will be on "The future of Farming" and the guest speaker will be George Dunn, the Chief Executive of the Tenant Farmers' Association.

This will take place at Horsley Village Hall, Priory Fields, Horsley, GL6 0PT at 7pm on 13 November 2014 at 7pm. Come and join in this important discussion.
