A march in Stroud.
A march in Stroud.

2021 will feature both county and district elections that will be crucial in defining the course of the district over the next 10 years.

Stroud Labour has led the district to a series of milestones – helping it to become a Carbon Neutral Council, and beginning the process towards becoming a Carbon Neutral District. We have also dealt with the toughest crisis it has faced in generations – Covid-19 with compassion and responsibility. A vote for Stroud Labour is a vote for a local party, with values informed from taking an active role in local politics, not from Westminster.

The 2021 elections will be unusual in that they will take place amidst a global pandemic – therefore it is advised that people, where possible exercise their right to a postal vote. This will allow people to vote safely and protect our community. The link to find the form to apply for postal voting will be sent out to residents by the council in due course and can also be found below.
