I will be the voice of Minchinhampton residents on all planning issues affecting our town and communities

I will always defend Minchinhampton against policies that may increase traffic through our town.

I will champion the development of Brimscombe port for everybody.

Mark Huband lives in Brimscombe and has been a Minchinhampton Parish councillor since August 2020.

Author, former foreign correspondent, managing director of his own business, and a long-standing campaigner on local and national issues, Mark was a Parliamentary candidate in The Cotswolds in 2017 and North East Somerset in 2019.

Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, Mark has worked intensively to both assist those within the community who are in need of help and has raised with Stroud DC the need to ensure that our community emerges from the crisis with clear environmental, social, and other programs at the top of the agenda.

As a Parish councillor, Mark has worked with councillors to improve road safety – particularly close to schools – and ensure the balance between housing needs and community priorities.
