Trevor Hall has won the Stroud district council by-election in Dursley. The former Lister’s shop steward will work alongside fellow Labour councillors Doina Cornell and Colin Fryer after securing more than 50% of the votes. On a turnout of 32.3%, Trevor received 889 votes with the Tories trailing in second place with 704, the Greens picking up 90 and the Lib Dems 79.
